In order to keep the Instrument in good working order, you need to periodically update software in the following time frames:

• ICS updates: generally, Singular Genomics manages the ICS updates. If you are prompted by the Instrument Control Software to update, install soon after you get the prompt.

• Windows updates: Singular Genomics tests the updates for compatibility issues and manages the updates on the instrument. Singular Genomics updates Windows when the instrument is idle.

CAUTION
Do not install Windows updates yourself, Singular Genomics manages the process. Also do not enable automatic Windows updates; updates during a run result in run failure.

• Driver updates: do not install unless prompted by Singular Genomics. If think you need to install a driver update, check with Singular Genomics Customer Care first.
